Why We Exist
More than a place to stay after surgery. Somewhere to rest, recover, regain your confidence, and feel cared for, whether you have flown in or live a short drive away.
The days and weeks after a procedure are part of the healing, not the afterthought. That is when rest matters most, when a surgeon's instructions have to be followed carefully, and when comfort makes the greatest difference to how the body recovers.
Many guests travel from another state, and some from another country, to be treated by a surgeon they trust. Travelling that far gets them the care they want. It also leaves them without family, friends, or anyone dependable nearby during the week they need somebody most.
Just as many guests live a short drive away. Going home is not always the rest it sounds like, a full house, and everybody else due at work in the morning. A recovery goes better somewhere quiet, where the meals and the driving are handled and you are not the one holding it all together.
Elysian Villa Retreat was created to fill that gap. Instead of a hotel room alone, or the quiet strain of managing everything unaided, there is a peaceful and welcoming place to stay, with people on hand for the ordinary, non-medical parts of getting through a recovery.
That is rarer than it sounds, wherever you have come from: a temporary home away from home. Someone nearby for transport, for meals, and for the small things that make a difficult week easier.
Our purpose is not to replace a guest's surgeon or medical team. Elysian Villa Retreat is designed to complement that care by providing hospitality, comfort, coordination and non-medical recovery support, while every guest remains under the care and instructions of their surgical provider.

After surgery, a trip to the pharmacy is not a small thing. Guests are tired, sore, and often have limited mobility, and a guest who has travelled from another state has nobody nearby to go for them.
As a separate convenience service, Elysian Villa Retreat offers prescription pickup and pharmacy coordination. Before surgery, guests are given the details of a preferred local pharmacy to pass on to their surgeon. Once prescriptions have been sent there appropriately, Elysian Villa Retreat may assist with coordinating and collecting a guest's prescribed post-operative medication, subject to the pharmacy's requirements and applicable law.
Elysian Villa Retreat does not prescribe, dispense, alter, or provide medical advice regarding medications. All medications must be prescribed by the guest's treating surgeon or other authorized healthcare provider, and pharmacy services are provided in accordance with applicable laws and pharmacy policies.

Arriving within a week, so this stay is paid in full when you book.
We hold your room for 30 minutes while you pay. If the payment is not finished in that time, the room goes back on sale.
Sending this does not charge you anything. We confirm your room and your rate by phone or email, usually the same day. Nothing is held until we have replied.
What happens to what you type here. Your details go to Elysian Villa Retreat and nowhere else. We use them to hold your room, plan your arrival and have the house ready for you. They are never sold, never shared with anyone outside the house, and never used for advertising. There are no tracking cookies on this site. Read the full privacy notice.

No. Elysian Villa Retreat does not provide surgical or medical treatment, and does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical care. Our services are non-clinical hospitality: a comfortable room, meals, transportation and day-to-day support while you recover under your own surgeon's care.
Yes. A member of the Elysian hospitality team is present at the residence around the clock, including overnight. This is not medical or nursing supervision. You are not alone in the house.
There are bedrooms on both levels of the house.
The equipment is operated upon request by certified professionals contracted for the appointment. They are not house staff, and those treatments are arranged and priced separately from your stay.

Yes. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, healthy snacks and hydration are part of your stay, prepared around comfort and convenience.
Yes, on request, for $150 for your whole stay rather than for each journey. That covers airport pickup and drop-off, collection from your home if you live within about 25 miles, and transport to and from your surgical facility. Tell us your flight or your address, and your surgery time, when you book, and we will confirm your pickup times with you. If you live further out, ask us. This is provided for your convenience and is not emergency medical transportation.
Because two guests coming out of theatre at the same hour cannot both be collected at the same time. Knowing the time, and the facility, is how we make sure somebody is there when you are discharged rather than an hour after.

Yes. Someone can stay with you in your suite. Meals are included for the guest recovering, not for the person staying with them, so let us know and we will sort out what they need.

No to both, so that the house stays quiet for everyone recovering in it.
No. Smoking anywhere on the property carries a $500 fine, plus the cost of cleaning and any damage.
We can assist with coordinating prescription pickup through the pharmacy, subject to pharmacy requirements and applicable law. Give the pharmacy details to your surgeon's office before you travel.
You can pay for your whole stay in one payment, or reserve with a $250 deposit if you are booking more than a week ahead. If you pay the deposit, the balance is invoiced automatically and due before you arrive, so there is nothing for you to arrange. Everything else is confirmed with you directly, by phone or by email, before you arrive.
Your $250 deposit is not refundable. Everything you pay after it is refunded on this scale: cancel 21 days or more before check-in and you get all of it back, between 14 and 20 days you get half, between 7 and 13 days a quarter, and inside 7 days there is no refund. The booking page works out your own dates for you before you pay anything.
Just outside Atlanta, Georgia, close to the surgical facilities most of our guests use. The exact address is given to you once your stay is confirmed. Guest privacy is the reason it is not published here.
Not from us. Discretion is part of the service: no signage, no shared guest information, and a private room that is yours for the length of your stay.
Élan Royale is $450 a night, Soléa Serenity is $400 a night and Amara Verde is $375 a night. Extras like airport pickup or a massage are priced separately. Georgia lodging tax and a $5 a night state fee are added on top, and the booking page shows you both before you pay anything.
